We'd like to extend a sincere thank you to the Free Masons of Bethel Lodge #30 for their donation of bikes for our students who worked so hard this year to improve in reading. Today we gave away the bikes to twelve very deserving students.

In person concerts are back! The CPS band and orchestra performed two outdoor concerts - one for friends/family and the other for the school. The students did a wonderful job, and we are proud of their hard-work
Mrs. Crockett's class has been busy studying about lifecycles and had the opportunity to study ladybugs. On Thursday they released their ladybugs in the garden at school.
Last week third graders hosted a Cardboard Carnival. Each student made a carnival game that featured a simple machine. Their games were enjoyed by all!

Today was a great day at CPS! Spring Fling-ing in to vacation!
Congratulations to seven 5th grade students from Crescent Park and Woodstock for their participation in the 2021-2022 District II Elementary Festival! This regional festival has three honors ensembles: band, chorus, and orchestra. Students are nominated from all over western Maine, and if they are accepted, they spend several months rehearsing their music before the festival. Participating students from CPS were River Otten, Braden Scott, Sydney van Buren, and Meadow Wilber. WES participating students were Oscar Carter, Claire Krech, and William Johnston. Congratulations on a wonderful performance and a job well done!

Crescent Park School is undertaking our annual search for prospective Kindergarten students. Any child who will be five (5) years of age on or before October 15, 2022, is eligible to enter Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year.

Slugger knows the importance of reading and is challenging students to read 3 books over their required reading and if they do so, they will get a FREE ticket to a Sea Dogs game AND day pass to Aquaboggan Water Park!
THANK YOU to everyone who supported our students and staff at the recent Scholastic Book Fair. Through your generous donations we sold approximately 1,554 Books, which equals 279,637 Voluntary Reading Minutes! Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.

CPS is hosting a Valentine's Day Carnation Drive Fundraiser! Please print and fill out the boxes below to participate and send out your Flower Grams. If you need a copy sent home with your student, please contact the CPS office. There are no limits to how many you can send!
Each Gram you send is $2.00. Please attach money in with the sheet and hand in no later than February 10th. Please make all checks payable to Crescent Park School.
