CPS PTA Parents Night Out Friday, April 5th!

On Wednesday, March 20th, 4th graders visited Augusta to tour the Maine State House and the Blaine House. Students were excited to watch a legislative session occur. They loved the quiet and courteous discussions being conducted and the gaveling as voting was finalized. They also got to see the State House building and met local district representative (and former student of Mrs Conrad), Rachel Henderson.

Please help us spread the word, MSAD#44 is a great place to work!

At the SAD #44 School Board Meeting last night preK students Reid and RJ, along with their teacher Mrs. Welch, read their recently published book titled, "The Gorilla That Went on Adventures Everywhere."
After completing an Ezra Jack Keats author study, Mrs. Welch's class wrote, illustrated and published their own amazing story. They dedicated their book to Mr. Keats as well as Mackenzie Richard, Crescent Park School librarian, who helped kick off their author study.

The Bus Garage now has a working landline. That number is 824-4094 if you need to reach anyone regarding transportation back at the Main Street Bethel location.

This morning in Mrs. Straiton's preK classroom guest author RoseMary Wells read Max's Dragon Shirt to the students. They got their own copy of the book to take home and an activity bundle to do with their families. The students did an awesome job listening and following along with their own books as she read the story this AM!
