The Maine CDC, along with the Maine Department of Education has revised their guidance for schools and there is an important update that I would like to let you know about.
Effective Monday, May 24th, all MSAD #44 schools will update their protocols to match the Maine DOE School Guidance that was revised on 5/14/21. Beginning Monday, as stated in the guidance, masks and physical distancing will not be required for outdoor classes. This includes both recess and physical education classes.
If you would like your child to continue wearing a mask outdoors, feel free to contact me, or their teacher to make that request.
We will continue to stay the course inside our building by wearing masks, social distancing, and following our cleaning and disinfecting procedures that were established at the beginning of the year.
